Joe, Jen, and Dave Went camping in Big Basin State Park

Big Basin is in the Santa Cruz mountains north of Santa Cruz, Ca

Jen and Joe try to squeeze between the gaps in the Great Redwood trees

Hiking on the many trails was WONDERFUL!

Relaxing back at the camp after the 7 mile hike thru the trails at Big Basin.

Of course there were those quite nights by the campfire.
Smores were the primary desert! (They're best with Dark Chocolate!!)

And then there were a few construction projects that went up in flames....

We went Kayaking in the Elkhorn Slough at Moss Beach just north of Monterey, Ca

There were a Sea Otters, Seals and a slough of birds

It was GREAT!!!!

Even though the camera fell in the water, most of the pictures turned out OK.

 (fortunately it was a disposable camera instead of the digital camera)
